DinoEater started as a personal project for my three-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum. I wanted to make a game he could simply enjoy, without the things that kept frustrating him in other games.
Three problems stood out: constant interruptions from adverts, getting stuck while exploring game worlds, and not being able to play without an internet connection. So I set out to build something different — a colourful dinosaur adventure with simple controls, worlds he could explore freely, and no adverts or internet connection required.
After weeks and weeks of testing, refining and polishing, DinoEater became a game he absolutely loves. Seeing him happily explore without getting stuck or being interrupted by adverts made every hour worthwhile.
Because he enjoyed it so much, we decided to share DinoEater with other families. There is a one-time download fee to reflect the time and care that have gone into creating it, but that purchase also includes all future game updates. We plan to keep adding more levels, more dinosaurs and new features as the game grows.
Most importantly, we want to listen to parents. If something is frustrating, could work better or would make the game more enjoyable, we welcome your feedback and will do our best to improve or fix it wherever possible.
